Golf Canada
The challenge: Golf Canada wanted a rallying cry of sorts that would result in a dramatic increase in rounds from St. John’s to Victoria. And do it on a limited budget.
By simply adding “golf” to their logo, it didn’t just become a verb, it became a call to action.
The campaign consisted of four videos. Below is “Gerry’s Story”. Gerry Nelson is Canada’s Blind Golf Champion. Along with these videos that were also cut down to 30’s for TV, a website was created and hundreds were encouraged to tell their stories as well.
Gerry’s story was so compelling, he made the cover of Golf Magazine as well as doing radio appearances. Above, “Todd’s Story”.

Canadian Open Golf Tournament
Created a character, Eddie McCarthy for this campaign for the open. There were numerous videos, these are just a few. And quite possibly the silliest things I’ve ever written and directed. Quite proud of them.
